Lauren and Steve are the spokesmodels for that quote for me. They were lovebirds in high school, parted ways for a few years and have found each other once again and I couldn’t think of a better match. Here is a quick session we did in Matts culdesac during my Florida visit. <3

like i mentioned a couple posts ago…Lauren is constantly smiling. I love her smile!!

So excited to be working with these two! Upon our initial meeting I left feeling like I had made two friends..two friends that even if they didn’t hire me to be their wedding photographer I would so want to hang out with them anyway! I am so honored that they chose me and I am looking forward to their February wedding at the LA Athletics Club.

It is weird having a “signature image”..but I think I might. Every couple I meet with adores the tin can image from Natalie and Kylesshoot. To be honest..its one of my favorites anddddd tin cans are a huge part of something special we have in the works. ..so the more the merrier.

Los Angeles Engagement Session: Caitlin and Brandon

Caitlin and Brandon found me after seeing Shanelle and Mikes engagement session. We met asap to discuss working together for their upcoming wedding and instantly clicked. Brandon talked of zombies and robots and Caitlin talked about Rilo Kiley and possible decoration options for their big day. Obviously this meant that a great friendship was about to be evolved and it has been just that. We met a while back to start their engagement session in Newport Beach’s Fun Zone and continued their session a few weeks later in Los Angeles in China Town.

Caitlin and Brandon..we truly can’t wait for your wedding day! There are plans being spoken of Scott and Brandon going straight from the reception to see..go figure..

Last weekend we strolled down to China Town to conclude our engagement session with Caitlin and Brandon…who we simply adore and have become good friends with and love enjoying a good scoop of ice cream with whenever we see eachother. Scott and I got down there alittle early and I decided to snap some pics..

I feel so honored to be working with Jen and Toffy during this exciting time. Their love for one another is so gentle and they really do hang on each others words. My mind races everywhere..it is hard for me to keep my attention on one thing but with Jen and Toffy they are so patient and so observant that you just know you are being listened to. I will be joining Jen and Toffy in Mammoth Lakes in a little less than a year for their wedding. Just hearing a few wedding details and seeing their very organized wedding book I know that this is going to be the wedding of the year for 2010. their friends and family joining them on this breathtaking mountain, followed by going out of their way to make this the best weekend of everyone who is attendings life and topping it off with the love between these two alone.

Scott joined us on this fun session and did what he does best. The following result is his work.

We met in Santa Clarita, California. This town reminded me of a town that used to be so western and now all of the cowboys have grown and started families. I picture tumbleweed flying around and gun matches in the street. We unfortunately didn’t see anything like that but had fun exploring downtown.

Forgive me for posting alot of these images but I can’t help it. =) Jade and John are some of Scott and I’s dearest friends that we have met in California. They are probably the most hilarious people we know and if they had a tv show about them I would watch it and probably even watch reruns. They are also genuine, talented and laid back. I had so much fun with these two the other day and feel honored to present them with some images of their love…they have been married seven years and this is the first time since their wedding they had professional pictures taken. I really hope you guys enjoy these!

I think this image sums up this gorgeous couple to the tee. Jade is such a wild child and John keeps her grounded.

Today was such a wonderful day! Upon arrival of my new camera yesterday I was itching to shoot as soon as possible. Unfortunately, it had been a few weeks since I last photographed anything and I was nervous but more excited than anything. The first shot I took I realized that the caliber of this camera in my hand was insanely amazing and I am undeserving but oh so grateful. I have fallen in love with a piece of photography equipment and I am not ashamed to say it!

Jade and John were nice enough to be my guinea pigs today and we had alot of fun! We hit up a local street carnival that hadn’t started opening up to the public yet for the day.More goodies to come soon!
