Most of you don’t know that I have a little day job. In the spring I was looking for alittle job to help unload the stress of school loans on me and I came along an ad looking for a “play area girl” for a childrens restaurant/playground called Giggles and Hugs. Sounds alittle weird right? haha..I went and interviewed..got hired and really have fallen in love with my job. I work a few days a week and its the best stress relief I could have ever asked for. I will be working hard behind my computer for 6-7 hours straight and then go to Giggles and Hugs and as much as I want to walk in with a bad attitude..I totally cant..the moment I see one kid smiling and having fun I smile and all my problems go away. It is my Never Never Land and its hard to think one day soon I am going to have to let go of this outlet due to being so busy with my photography business…but I just don’t want to! I can do both right? Tell me I can! haha.
Anyway…I met this angel a couple months ago! She is one of my favorites and as soon as she walks in the door she runs right into my arms and it really is the best feeling. I got to spend a couple hours of my day off on Friday with Ha’llema and her beautiful mommy Nita. It was still a wonderful outlet and I am so blessed I get to create for a living. I don’t photograph many children but being involved in such a place like my job it has opened many doors for me..introduced me to beautiful familes..some that feel like my own..some that I know I will go to with for advice when Scott and I start our own family..and many that I know I will be photographing for years to come.
