the first few days of this new year have been nothing short of amazing. new years day I was awake at 6 in the morning and got to witness the most gorgeous sunrise of my life. everything about it was perfect and the love from God was smiling down through every color he used to paint the sky that morning. It was nothing short of perfection and I just thought that I would never see anything more beautiful. That evening Scott and I finished up an amazing session in Santa Monica on the beach and were fortunate enough to be so close to the most magnificent sunset I have ever seen. I felt so incredibly blessed to start out the new year with a beautiful sunrise but to end it with a radiant sunset just overwhelmed me. God is so amazing how he brings joy to our lives. The fact that I got to witness the sun leaving us for the day…the first day of the year…in such a remarkable way..just finishing up an amazing session and then being able to hold Scotts hand while watching the mixture of colors in the sky was unbelievable. I can’t stop thinking about that day and I hope there are more like that this year.
