There are so many things I absolutely adored about this wedding. The color palette. Shanelle and Mike writing their own vows. Their inability to hold back tears from joy and pure love. Their sincere and gentle first look. Shanelles cowboy boots. Mikes vintage grey suit. Their families and friends at their hand and foot to make everything go perfect for them. Catchphrase to calm the nerves. The candy bar…mmmm. Green apples. Their awesome array of songs during the dancing hours. How much they made sure Scott and I were taken care of and having a good time. The sunlight. The Red Horse Barn. Huntington Beach. The fact that it was extremely hard to pick out favorites of mine for this blog post cause I loved every single image…I just loved this whole wedding.

Shanelle and Mike chose to see eachother before the ceremony last minute. I recommend this to all of my couples. I hope the next few images sum up why..I mean..wouldn’t you want these intimate moments to look at forever??

Shanelle chose yellow roses because that is what her mom walked down the aisle with at her own wedding…so sweet.

When I was done taking the girls portraits I dismissed them to happy hour. They looked kind of bummed and I asked what was wrong..they then said they really wanted to do jumping pictures. I had wanted to do them too but I was afraid of them hurting
themselves with their heels in the grass…these girls are champs!! <3 Love you guys!

These next pictures made me so happy that I was standing there at that particular moment…

Shanelle and Mike..my cheeks hurt from laughing and smiling so much on your very special day and a smile still appears across my face even while posting these. Scott and I are so happy for you two! Congratulations! <3
